A Way Of Controlling Precious Water – Brass Float Valve

What are the two most precious things in this world? I believe, the foremost is the life and then comes the water to live this precious life. There is a saying that ‘anyone can live without love, but not one without water’ – this implies that water is very essential for living. Did you know that about 71% of the Earth’s surface is covered with water, but only 2.5% of it is fresh water? These figures indicate the value and importance of water in our lives, as well as, for continuous evolving ecosystem.

We have always promoted ‘save water’ slogan and so does the developers and manufacturers of advanced technologies and equipment to prevent water wastage, as well as, treat wastewater to make it acceptable by environment to support eco-friendly and healthy surrounding. This is what we call water plants, and another measure to avoid water wastage in larger scale is a Brass Float Valve.

Understanding Brass Float Valve and its working principle

A Brass Float Valve, also called as ballcock, is a compact, lightweight and flexible device that is designed to control the flow and level of a fluid in a wide variety of storage tanks. Basically, it is commonly used to fill a fluid storage tank and avoid overflow and backflow too. You can find this kind of valve in your residential water tank.

This valve is connected to a sealed, ball-shaped float by a level, mounted near the opening of the storage tank. The valve is directly connected to the fluid supply, and is either opened or closed with the help of the lever, responding to the fluid level inside the tank. In simple words, as the fluid level reaches to a pre-set level, the float also rises simultaneously that force the valve to automatically shut off the fluid supply. And, when the fluid level decreases, the float’s position is also dropped that force valve to open and help in filling up the tank.

Applications

The Brass Float Valve is extensively used in a wide range of applications, including toilet tanks, commercial water tanks, industrial water and gasoline tanks, domestic or residential water tank etc., which may be installed aboveground of underground. It also finds its usage in HVAC (heating, ventilating and air conditioning) applications, plumbing and water treatment plants.

Whenever fluid level drops below the pre-set level, the valve is automatically opened and responds by refilling the tank to get back to its potential position. This mechanism makes it highly efficient and reliable mean to prevent water spillage or wastage, and facilitate in healthy ecosystem by providing accurate water supply at all time.

Benefits of Brass Float Valve

Brass material is known for its extreme strength, ductility, machinability, hardness, thermal and electrical conductivity, hygiene and resistance to corrosion, rust, wear and tear. A Brass Float Valve has longer serving life due to brass material including its surface finish to make it highly resistant to any negative impact, thus increasing its lifespan. This float valve has ability to perform perfect even after numbers of cycle. It is anti-abrasive and non-corrosive.

All these traits add up to Brass Float Valve’s excellent performance, also in heavy-duty industrial applications. So, plan to save more water at smaller-to-larger scale and promote healthy, eco-friendly and safe environment.

LED Lights: An Inexpensive Way to Brighter Side

You must have also left thinking about reducing your monthly electricity bill as it’s daunting! But, what if you have a chance to reduce around 80 to 85 % of electricity bill. Did you know, LED lights have set an example as the most reliable and prime lighting that allow its users to save approximately 80-85 % of electricity bill?

Why LED Lights?
Tell me, why not LED lights when they are so energy efficient plus cost effective! Did you know that you’ll be saving plenty of money (electricity bill), while simultaneously using that same lighting for scores of years? That’s right, LED lights are very inexpensive and last longer than the conventional lighting fixtures.

The most interesting thing is that LED lights do not incorporate any hazardous material and pose any threat to one’s life by emitting polluting radiations, unlike traditional lightnings. Use them for years and save plenty of money for your future purposes. They are designed in a way to emit bright light for at least 60,000 hours.

Benefits of Led Lights?
LED lights take a few seconds to turn on and off. In fact, the repeated on and off motion does not reduce life expectancy, unlike fluorescent lighting. They are fixed with a heat sink that assist in absorbing heat and keeping them cool. Being in exclusive use from ages, these are completely resistant to vibrations and shocks.

It has been already proven that they have improved lighting performance used in most of the applications, including industrial, commercial and residential. Due to their enhanced versatility and reliability, these are in utilization in a great extent by homes, offices, hospitals and almost all types of industries.

Miscellaneous
LED lights (light-emitting diode) are not only used for above listed purposes, but has been in use as street light and bicycle lights. They have attained a market dominance in scores of applications in need of high efficient at the lower panels. Moreover, the colorful LED lights are also used in traffic signals due to ability to produce a great amount of bright light. They consume low power and requires less maintenance.

These come in flexible designs suitable for different applications, call it industrial light or bulb. However, there’s a drawback in case of long exposure to LED lights to human eyes. It can slightly affect your retina, but cause no serious harm.
